Can I tune my musical instrument using the mark-my-time metronome?
The digital metronome comes with an A440 tuning note for testing your musical instrument’s "A" note. Turn on the tuning note and press your piano or string instrument’s A note and listen for the two notes to see if they sound alike.
Can I use the countdown or count up timer while using the metronome?
Yes—start your metronome, press the mode button to switch to either the count up or countdown timing method, set your time and start the timer to time your practice session.
How do I replace the battery?
Slide cover in the direction of the arrow located on the cover to expose the battery. Replace with two LR44 or AG13 batteries.
Why is there no sound when I start the metronome?
Your metronome has a mini computer brain that allows the timing functions and the sound chip to talk to each other. Sometimes, when you change the tempo and/or the rhythm setting and press start the sound can take a few seconds to come on. This silence is the internal timing clock and the sound synchronizing. If the sound does not start within 10 seconds you may need to reset the device by GENTLY pressing the reset button on the back of the device with a paperclip.
If the metronome appears to freeze, can it be reset?
In the event that the batteries run low or the device seems to freeze, use a paperclip and GENTLY press the reset button on the back of the device. This will reset the computer. If the batteries run low, please replace them and press the reset key.
